Formosa Solar Renewable Power Group

Formosa Solar has hosted its Solar PV Experience Camp for five consecutive years, with this year's event held in Taichung. The program began with a themed lecture, "A New Perspective on Energy Transition," introducing participants to the fundamentals of renewable energy. Group discussions then encouraged students to propose their own green energy lifestyle ideas. A hands-on solar DIY activity brought these concepts to life, turning knowledge into practical experience. In the afternoon, participants visited the solar PV site at the Seed Sundial in Taichung Metropolitan Park, as well as the green energy facilities at Taichung Central Park, observing firsthand how solar power systems operate in everyday settings.

From classroom to project site, our goal is to help students move beyond abstract concepts of renewable energy and gain real, hands-on exposure. Formosa Solar remains committed to this program, hoping to inspire more young people to engage with green energy development and help cultivate the next generation of industry talent.
