On Earth Day (April 22), Formosa Solar was honored to join the annual meeting and technical exchange forum hosted by National University of Tainan's Solar Cell Circular Economy Industry Alliance as an alliance member. As the global energy transition accelerates, solar PV is becoming an increasingly competitive energy option, with its levelized cost declining significantly over the past decade.At the same time, the industry must look further ahead and consider how every module and every unit of green power can create longer-term sustainable value.
The forum brought together industry, academia, and government to advance solar panel recycling and material reuse, with more than 60 companies joining the dialogue. For Formosa Solar, circular economy is a key step toward a more mature and sustainable solar industry. We will continue working with our alliance partners to build a more complete renewable energy value chain, from generation to recycling.
