In terms of stakeholder communication and information transparency, although Formosa Solar is not required by the FSC (Financial Supervisory Commission) to publish a sustainability report, it has issued its own report for two consecutive years, adhering the GRI Standards, SASB and the TCFD, and verified by a third party. In 2024, for the first time participating in the Sustainability Reporting Awards, the report was awarded with a silver-level affirmation, which demonstrates the significance, credibility, completeness, and communication of the report.
Not only has Formosa Solar implemented a greenhouse gas inventory that includes Scope 3, but it has also set a corporate sustainability goal of RE100 by 2025, which has been achieved one year ahead of schedule thanks to the hard work of the company's team!
