This is Formosa Solar’s first fishery and electricity symbiosis, integrating aquaculture with solar PV installations. With a total capacity of 20 MW, it will be completed in phases by 2024-2025. The indoor aquaculture system uses advanced technology to reduce water usage and enhance operational flexibility under extreme weather, minimizing risks. The rooftop solar panels provide green energy, promoting both sustainability and a win-win for the environment and economy.
